Hawkins Recon, August 16, 2011

Sometimes you have have to find the snow before you can ski it. After swimming at Burnside Lake we went on a recon mission to Hawkins Peak. We found snow.

Pretty good size for a south facing patch in mid-August. I wish I had my skis with me then. (We would return later that week on the 19th.)
