The Nipple, September 29, 2019

I headed out on a recon mission with Penny and Zooey after an early season storm dropped a few inches of snow in the mountains. We headed over to the beautiful and reliable east ridge of The Nipple. The snow we found was next season’s fresh dust on last season’s leftover crust.

As we were headed up, my friend Court was heading back down with his crew and he took this photo of me bootpacking up.
