Roundtop/Sisters, June 16, 2018

On this day I joined Casey and Austin for an adventure that included skiing on various areas on Roundtop and Sisters. We started from near Woods Lake and headed up past Winnemucca Lake.

While waiting below I took a run in the Chef Raekwon/Ghostface Killah area. Here is a self-timer photo.

(The snow really wasn’t waist deep. The camera angle just made it look like that.)

We traversed and hiked over to the various zones of Sisters next.

We would continue to ascend and descend our way across Sisters with a few traverses thrown in.

Casey picked an area with a great view for a lunch break.

He was wise to fuel up before his steep ascent.

Then we hiked out from Roundtop Lake back to our starting point near Woods Lake. Definitely a full day that was a fun-filled day.
